Delete your FloField account

Last updated: 2026-09-17

How to request deletion

If you have the FloField app installed: open the app, go to Profile, and tap “Delete my account” under Account. Confirm the request. That's it — no need to contact us separately.

If you no longer have the app installed: reach out on Threads or Instagram with the email address on your account and ask us to delete it.

Either way, a person reviews and processes every deletion request by hand — there's no instant self-service delete button that wipes data immediately. This is intentional: it gives us a chance to catch accidental requests before they're irreversible.

What gets deleted

Once we process your request, we permanently delete:

  • Your account and login credentials
  • Your profile (display name, email address)
  • All tasks, task completions, and any notes attached to them
  • Any task-proof photos or videos you uploaded
  • Your staking credit, reward credit, and streak history
  • Your reward redemption history

What gets retained

A few things aren't deleted along with your account:

  • Analytics events. We use PostHog to track anonymous app usage, keyed only by an internal ID — never your email or name. These events are kept for up to 12 months per our normal analytics retention, then aggregated and the raw events deleted. Once your account is deleted, this internal ID can no longer be linked back to you.
  • Purchase and subscription records. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat retain their own transaction records independently of FloField, for their own tax and compliance obligations. We don't control or have the ability to delete those.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Play Store subscription — cancel that separately in your phone's subscription settings, or you'll keep being charged.

How long it takes

We process deletion requests by hand, typically within 30 days of your request.
